Can we wear flip flops on the tour Good walking shoes are recommended. The tours are conducted over concrete walkways that may be damp during certain times of the year. How many go on a tour? The minimum is one and may be as many as 30. Is it muddy in the cave? The tour is conducted over concrete walkways with metal handrails. Can we take pictures? Yes, photos are encouraged. In this week's blog, we will be answering some of your Frequently Asked Questions, so keep reading to find out more!  FAQS: Is the tour handicapped accessible? Unfortunately, due to Mother Nature’s design the tour route is not handicapped accessible. Can we take a stroller on the tour? It is strongly advised not to take strollers on the tour. Due to the layout of the trail route, you will end up carrying the stroller about half of the time. Backpacks are recommended. Do we need reservations for the tours? Reservations are not required for groups of less than 20 paying admissions. Just come on down and we will get you on the next available tour. Is the tour affected by rain? Centuries ago the Osage Native Americans discovered the pristine beauty that lies beneath Thunder Mountain. Local folklore tells of a legendary Native American wedding ceremony held in the cave in the early 1800’s.  Since then, over 4,250 weddings have been performed inside Bridal Cave’s beautiful stalactite adorned Bridal Chapel or in the Pavilion overlooking Lake of the Ozarks!
