The gorgeous botanical gardens that we added to Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park last year are in full bloom and ready to be enjoyed this season! Along with all of the other natural beauty you will experience walking around the trails of our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction , as well as the underground beauty inside the cave, these gardens are certainly quite a sight to behold.  Botanical Garden & Waterfall Just outside of our Lake of the Ozarks gift shop you will find a magnificent botanical garden featuring over 20 different blooming flowers and shrubs. The New Gardens at Thunder Mountain Park Are Complete!

Image
A couple of month's ago we wrote about the beautiful new improvements that were in the works for Thunder Mountain Park this spring. Well, we did it! They designed and installed the new gardens at Thunder Mountain Park. The work this spring started with the crew bringing in new black soil, compost, and mulch to fill the newly constru...

Their grounds crew completed the ground preparation work last fall, and this spring they will bring in black dirt, install the irrigation system, and spread mulch. As soon as that is finished, they will be ready to begin the planting stage. Botanical Gardens The Botanical Gardens will be filled with gorgeous mature flowering plants that will surround the new waterfall feature. We plan to include Azalea, Hydrangea, Butterfly Bushes, Salvia, Coreopsis, and many more. Throughout the season, from spring into early fall, blooming p...
