We have one weekend under our belt for our 2nd Annual Thunder Mountain Fall Festival and both our staff and guests had a great time enjoying all the fall activities in the park. If you missed us last weekend, no worries because our Fall Festival at the Lake of the Ozarks will take place every weekend in October, so you still have plenty of time to join in on the fun at our family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks . ✈ Lake of the Ozarks Air Show THIS WEEKEND! ✈

The Lake of the Ozarks is full of fun annual events. This weekend, Saturday, September 22, 2018 is the Lake of the Ozarks Air Show at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport . Vendor booths will open at 10:00 am and the show will conclude at 3:00 pm.  This annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is going to be packed with entertainment for folks of all ages to enjoy. This day will consist of areal displays, static displays, vendor booths, car vs. plane rases, and much more. Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of Summer and lots of area attractions close down but Bridal Cave is open year round! As a matter of fact, Thunder Mountain Park comes alive for the Fall season with our Fall Festival in October. Last year was our first year for our Fall Festival and our staff and guests had so much fun that we decided to make the Fall Festival an annual event here at Thunder Mountain Park. Check out all the fun we had last year and why you need to make visiting our scenic attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks a priority this October. Summer is a popular time to visit the lake area, but fall at the Lake of the Ozarks is an amazing sight to behold! The crisp, cool air has finally made its way to the area, and the leaves are beginning to turn all sorts of gorgeous colors. The 1st Annual Thunder Mountain Fall Festival at our scenic family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks has been a big hit so far, and there are still plenty of great days left in October to enjoy it! Right now at Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park we have over 1,000 pumpkins on site, all looking for a good home. Today we've got a few creative decorating ideas so you can turn the pumpkins you pick into something extra-special.  Carve It The most popular thing to do with any pumpkin this time of year is to carve it into a jack-o-lantern. Using simple shapes to carve eyes, a nose, and a mouth are a classic, but if you want to get a little fancier than that, here are a couple of places to find some free pumpkin carving templates. Our Thunder Mountain Fall Festival is opening this weekend on October 1, and the staff at Bridal Cave has worked tirelessly to get it ready. Our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction looks even more gorgeous than usual with all of the decorations up. You'll be in the fall spirit the second you lay eyes on it.  You will want to make sure to find the time to come out and experience our 1st Annual Thunder Mountain Fall Festival in person, because the photos in today's blog are only a fraction of the excitement waiting to be had! When you visit the park and purchase a tour ticket, you will not only get to see one of America's most scenic caverns, but you can also take part in all of the fun activities, demonstrations, and entertainment included!  That tour ticket also gives you the additional benefit of getting some deep discounts on the beautiful fall decorations that are on sale at the park. Fun Fall Festivals Near Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park

It's almost time for our Thunder Mountain Park Fall Festival ! (You can see the evidence of it all over the park already!) While all the autumn-themed fun doesn't officially start until October 1st, there are a couple of other exciting events happening near  Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park  to keep you entertained until then. Both of these annual events are well worth taking the time to check out!    -Saturday, September 23 Lake of the Ozarks Air Show This awesome event honors our military, aviation, and more with a day full of exciting acts, both in the air and on the ground. It takes place at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport from 7:30 am - 4 pm . (If it's rained out, the event will take place on Sunday, September 24 instead.) Parking is available at the airport for $10 per vehicle, or you can park at Camdenton High School for free and take the shuttle running from 8 am - 3:45 pm.
