Christmas weekend looks like it's going to be a cold one, but that doesn't mean you have to keep everyone locked away inside the house. Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park are open year-round so that you can enjoy nature, no matter what the weather!  It's Comfy in the Cave Even if it's a little chilly to be hanging around outside at the park, it's always a comfortable 60° inside Missouri's most scenic cave tour , allowing you to get out of the house and into nature without freezing! Shimmy out of that heavy winter coat once you're inside the cave and feel like it's a nice, cool, fall day again.  Instead of getting stir-crazy stuck inside the house, bring the family here to hang out with us over the holidays. It's well-known that the lake area is a popular place during the summer, but there's a lot going on here in December too! Our scenic attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks is open year-round so you can enjoy the natural beauty of Thunder Mountain Park and the breathtaking wonder that is Bridal Cave anytime you are in the area. This month, however, there are a few fun holiday things happening that you may want to make some time to enjoy too.   - Holiday Parades & Celebrations- Lake Ozark Christmas Parade The 33rd Annual Christmas Parade will happen along the historic Bagnell Dam Strip December 9 from 3-5 pm. This Thursday is a time for family and friends to gather, give thanks, and enjoy some quality time together. After that, over the holiday weekend, you should get everyone out of the house for some exciting fun at our year-round Lake of the Ozarks attraction . The 1st Annual Thunder Mountain Fall Festival is winding down. We are about to enter the final weekend of entertainment and demonstrations, and the last day to enjoy festival activities will be on Tuesday, October 31, aka Halloween. There are only a few more days to enjoy this extra-special fun at Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park . (Although the park is tons of fun even when those things aren't going on!) Once it's over, we have to do something with all of those wonderful decorations we put up.   FREE Fall Decor Once our Lake of the Ozarks fall festival is over, we want to repurpose as many of the autumn decorations as possible. They are simply too gorgeous to go to waste once we take them down. The 1st Annual Thunder Mountain Fall Festival at our scenic family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks has been a big hit so far, and there are still plenty of great days left in October to enjoy it! Our Thunder Mountain Fall Festival is opening this weekend on October 1, and the staff at Bridal Cave has worked tirelessly to get it ready. Our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction looks even more gorgeous than usual with all of the decorations up. It's almost time for our Thunder Mountain Park Fall Festival ! (You can see the evidence of it all over the park already!) Both of these annual events are well worth taking the time to check out!    -Saturday, September 23 Lake of the Ozarks Air Show This awesome event honors our military, aviation, and more with a day full of exciting acts, both in the air and on the ground. It takes place at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport from 7:30 am - 4 pm . (If it's rained out, the event will take place on Sunday, September 24 instead.) Parking is available at the airport for $10 per vehicle, or you can park at Camdenton High School for free and take the shuttle running from 8 am - 3:45 pm.
