Your Wishes Help Students Pursue Education!

If you've been through our cave at the Lake of the Ozarks , you know that we have a wishing well along the tour. It's hard to resist not throwing a few coins in as you pass by. What you may not know is that when you make a wish, wishes really do come true! It may not be the wish that you wished for but the coins you throw in our wishing well are used to provide a scholarship for a high school student pursuing higher education! Each spring we pump the well dry to remove all of the coins and use them to give one deserving high school student a college scholarship. All of the money collected goes toward a scholarship fund at Camdenton RIII High School. A massive amount of coins are collected, and even a few hundred dollar bills, filling numerous 5-gallon buckets that are carried out of Bridal Cave by hand. 69th Annual Dogwood Festival Takes Place April 25th - 27th

Just around the corner is the Lake of the Ozarks longest continuously running festival in the Lake Area - Camdenton's 69th Dogwood Festival! This festival is truly one of the best family fun events at the Lake and you won't want to miss it! You can look forward to a parade, crafts, music, entertainment, food, and more! This popular Lake of the Ozarks annual event celebrates our beautiful state tree, the Flowering Dogwood. You will find many of these gorgeous trees all around Thunder Mountain Park , and in the spring they are in full glory. White blossoms are the most common, but you will also see pink dogwood trees around Missouri. This year's theme is, Time Traveler ~ Past, Present, and Future and will take place Thursday, April 25th, Friday Evening April, 26th, and Saturday, April 27th with the Carnival at the Middle School Parking Lot and other events around Camdenton. Missouri Cave's Association Meeting Held at Thunder Mountain Park Event Center!

We were busy at Thunder Mountain Park this past week at our new event center at the Lake of the Ozarks ! On Wednesday, April 10, we the started the morning with our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting for Thunder Mountain Park Event Center and then proceeded into the afternoon by hosting a meeting for the Missouri Cave's Association! Our new mountaintop venue was a hit among both groups who utilized our facility and we cannot wait to show even more people the new event center located on our property! You will be trained on giving tours so no prior knowledge is required.
