Lake of the Ozarks largest winter event is almost here! Ameren Missouri presents the 19th Annual Eagle Days starting on Saturday, January 5th and Sunday, January 6th, 2019.  This entertaining and educational event is fun for people of all ages and if you have never attended this annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks, you should make plans to join in on the fun!  You will have the opportunity to learn about these magnificent birds and even see eagles from the World Bird Sanctuary! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Lake of the Ozarks which means the kiddos will be on their Christmas break very soon! The Lake of the Ozarks is full of fun annual events. This weekend, Saturday, September 22, 2018 is the Lake of the Ozarks Air Show at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport . Vendor booths will open at 10:00 am and the show will conclude at 3:00 pm.  This annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is going to be packed with entertainment for folks of all ages to enjoy. It's hard to believe that it's almost the 4th of July! This year, the 4th of July Holiday is unique in the fact that it's on a Wednesday. This just means that it gives you that much more time to celebrate! If you plan on staying the entire week or for an extended weekend you defiantly won't be short of something to do. The original event, which started in 1999, attracted 651 participants. Last year that number grew to over 3,700 people joining in the fun! It's well-known that the lake area is a popular place during the summer, but there's a lot going on here in December too! Our scenic attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks is open year-round so you can enjoy the natural beauty of Thunder Mountain Park and the breathtaking wonder that is Bridal Cave anytime you are in the area. This month, however, there are a few fun holiday things happening that you may want to make some time to enjoy too.   - Holiday Parades & Celebrations- Lake Ozark Christmas Parade The 33rd Annual Christmas Parade will happen along the historic Bagnell Dam Strip December 9 from 3-5 pm. This year's theme is "A Magical, Musical Christmas." Our Thunder Mountain Fall Festiva l is off to a tremendous start, the decorations and the natural scenic beauty around the park is breathtaking, and we've got tons of fun planned at Bridal Cave all month long! Have you had the chance to enjoy our brand new annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks yet? It adds even more fun and excitement to our family attraction!  Beautiful Scenery Bridal Cave is well-known as one of America's most scenic cave tours . It remains a constant 60° inside the cave, and you will see room after room of incredible mineral deposits, giant columns, stalactites and stalagmites, massive draperies, and so much more all created over millions of years of formation.  Outside, in Thunder Mountain Park, you've got nature trails to explore and of course, that amazing lake view. Labor Day Excitement, Soon Followed By Fall Fun!

Last week's blog gave you a look at what's coming up this week as we head into the " Last Blast of the Summer - Labor Day Weekend! " It's only the ceremonial end to summer, because technically our Lake of the Ozarks scenic attraction has a few more weeks left to enjoy this season. Still, we can't help but begin looking forward to all of the exciting things coming up this fall, both at and near Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park .  -Labor Day Weekend We expect an increase to the already large crowds we see every weekend at the park over the next few days. Regular tours of America's most scenic cave tour will be heading out every few minutes, and we'll be hosting our last Lantern Tour for the season on Saturday night.
