What You Need For Your Cave Tour!

You have booked your next fun experience- a beautiful cave tour in Missouri! (Can't say we blame you!) You may be an experienced caver, or you may be new to exploring the gorgeous caverns throughout Missouri, but our team at Bridal Cave is here to provide you with tips on what you are going to need for your cave tour!
Read more below to find out what you should pack along on your next cave tour trip!
1. Clothing
At Bridal Cave, our cave stays a nice 60 degrees, meaning clothing-wise you can pick and choose based upon your preference and the time of year, but to stay on the safe side, if you wear a short-sleeved shirt, it may be best to grab a light jacket. When exploring our scenic Missouri cave, you should also be sure to wear pants and tennis shoes to keep yourself protected, as well as keep yourself comfortable as we trek along the hour-long tour!

2. Flashlights
If you are going to explore a cave by yourself, you should always be sure to bring essentials like flashlights, headlamps, etc. However, when you are going on a guided tour at Bridal Cave, you won't need to bring anything like this, as our pathways are lit up, and well-maintained! This means you won't have to stress about getting lost or hurt, as we will guide you along our safe, well-lit tour!

3. Food/Drink
When you go on a cave tour, you may find yourself getting snackish or needing a drink along the way, so you may want to grab a bottle of water for the tour, and maybe pack a light snack to give you that extra boost along the way! (Especially if you are traveling with kiddos or are planning on partaking in any other activities following the tour!)
These are some of the recommendations we have for you when you go on your next cave-exploration journey! Of course, bring whatever makes you the most comfortable and wear clothing that will be easy to move in as we progress throughout the tour!
