Can’t Miss Events at the Lake
Spring at the Lake of the Ozarks is truly the precursor to getting ready for several months of fun within the Lake of the Ozarks community. This is the time of the year when everyone starts to plan a vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks and when most local events begin taking off! For a stacked list of can’t miss events, we’ve put together some of our favorites below so you can plan ahead for your best summer yet!
DOGWOOD FESTIVAL – APRIL 15th - APRIL 17th
The annual Dogwood Festival takes place in April and will be celebrating it’s 70th
year in 2021! Taking place over three days, it is a great family friendly event
that includes crafts, entertainment, the infamous parade, fish fry and plenty
of delicious food! The Dogwood Festival is taking place at our neighbors up the
road at Ozarks Amphitheater and a tour through Bridal Cave is the perfect addition to the day of
festivities!
MAGIC DRAGON STREET MEET- APRIL 30th - MAY 2nd
The Magic Dragon
Street Meet Nationals is a fun showcase of a variety of makes, models and
different years for cars, trucks and motorcycles. Now in it’s 33rd
year, the annual Street Meet has hosted over 1,000 participants and more than
10,000 spectators! It’s held at the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of
the Ozarks at the end of April this year.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND – May 28, 29 & 30th
Memorial Day a fantastic opportunity to spend time with
friends and family and at the Lake of the Ozarks, locals, and visitors alike kick
off the official start of summer. Don't forget to make plans for a cool visit to Bridal Cave! Tours will be leaving every few minutes throughout the weekend!
CANINE CANNONBALL- June 11th -June 13th
The annual Canine Cannonball
jumping contest is a fun one for the WHOLE family, including your pet! Canine
athletes compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve at this event
and onsite registration is available if you think your pup has what it takes!
CONCERT AT THE OZARKS AMPHITHEATER – July 4th
Another fun lake holiday is the Fourth of July! This year on July 4th, Ozarks Amphitheater is also hosting REO Speedwagon at the revived and spacious amphitheater. To purchase tickets, come and see us at Bridal Cave! If you pay in cash, you can avoid extra fees, and you'll get 25% off tour admission to the cave!
