LAST CONCERT AT OZARK AMPHITHEATER: CrossOver Christian Music Festival 2019

This weekend is the LAST concert at the Ozarks Amphitheater! The Ozarks Amphitheater is located just right up the road from our family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks. This weekend, the CrossOver Christian Music Festival is coming back to the Lake of the Ozarks and this event is going to be filled with family fun activities and some great music. Friday, September 20

Night of Worship
5:00 PM - Gates open
6:00 PM - Music begins with local worship bands
8:30 PM - Carrollton
Admission Free, Parking $10

Saturday, September 21

12 Noon – 4:00 PM Backlot Street Party
Ozarks Amphitheater Main Entrance Plaza
Live music, bounce houses, games, concessions, fun for the whole family
Admission Free – Parking $5 till 4PM - $10 after 4PM

4:30 PM – Gates open to Amphitheater Seats – Tickets Required (Box office will be open)
5:00 PM – Welcome and National Anthem
5:10 PM - Curtain Call
5:25 PM - Crossover Worship Band
6:05 PM - We Are Vessel
6:45 PM - Tasha Layton
7:25 PM - Jason Gray

Sunday, September 22

The most scenic cave tour in Missouri is surrounded by the natural beauty of Thunder Mountain Park .  This incredible Lake of the Ozarks attraction  covers hundreds of acres.  It spreads over more than a mile of Lake of the Ozraks shoreline, a mile of highway frontage along Old Missouri Route 5, and all the acreage in between.  That is a lot of nature to be explored! Spend Your Spring Break at the Lake of the Ozarks

It's time for Spring Break! You don't need to travel to some sandy beach to get away from everything. Our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction feels lucky to be located in the center of some of the most natural beauty in America. There's no need to travel any further than right here, the Midwest's Coast!  There are buds on the trees and the flowers are beginning to bloom, the fish are biting, and the lake is calling out to us all! Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park are even extending our hours to kick off Spring Break, and we'll be open daily from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm beginning March 11, 2017 . Stalactites & Stalagmites - Which is Which?

Caves in Missouri , as well as around the world, are filled with stalactites and stalagmites.  Everyone has heard of these, but most people have trouble remembering which is which.  Today's Bridal Cave blog will hopefully help you to remember once and for all which one hangs from the ceiling and which one hangs from the floor.  We'll even teach you some interesting facts about how both are formed.   There are a couple of different ways that people use to help them keep these two types of formations straight.  Stalactites are fixed "tight" to the ceiling, and stalagmites "might" trip you when you walk.  Another trick is to use the spelling. StalaCtite has a "C" like the Ceiling from which it hangs, and stalaGmites have a "G" like the Ground they grow on.  You may think these ideas sound corny, but we bet at least one of them will stick with you and you will always remember!
