Virtual Tour Online
Just in case you are unfamiliar with what a virtual tour is, it is defined as a simulation of an existing location, usually composed of a sequence of videos or still images. When you visit the Bridal Cave virtual tour on Google, it allows you to zoom in, zoom out, and use the mouse to click and drag your way around the photo as if you are standing in the center and slowly spinning around. Pretty cool, and a very intriguing way to see a part of the natural beauty that awaits you inside Bridal Cave. 

 Once you're done exploring the cave room you begin the virtual tour in, which happens to be our Bridal Chapel, scroll around until you see an arrow, then click on that. Following the arrow's path will take you outside, into and through the gift shop, all the way to the parking lot! 

Find the Hidden Cave Troll!
Just for fun, and to make sure you take a really good look while you are virtually touring the cave, we've hidden a cave troll somewhere inside. You will need to zoom in and really keep your eyes peeled, because he's a shy guy, and he nearly blends into the surroundings completely. 

 If you are clever enough to spot the little fella, you can win a FREE Bridal Cave family pass, which is good for 2 adults and 2 children. Here is how you do that:
  • Copy, cut, & paste the image of the cave troll.
  • Email that image, along with your mailing address, to: info@BridalCave.com.
  • Entries must be received by 4 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2016.

The most scenic cave tour in Missouri is surrounded by the natural beauty of Thunder Mountain Park .  This incredible Lake of the Ozarks attraction  covers hundreds of acres.  It spreads over more than a mile of Lake of the Ozraks shoreline, a mile of highway frontage along Old Missouri Route 5, and all the acreage in between.  That is a lot of nature to be explored! Spend Your Spring Break at the Lake of the Ozarks

It's time for Spring Break! You don't need to travel to some sandy beach to get away from everything. Our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction feels lucky to be located in the center of some of the most natural beauty in America. There's no need to travel any further than right here, the Midwest's Coast!  There are buds on the trees and the flowers are beginning to bloom, the fish are biting, and the lake is calling out to us all! Stalactites & Stalagmites - Which is Which?

Caves in Missouri , as well as around the world, are filled with stalactites and stalagmites.  Everyone has heard of these, but most people have trouble remembering which is which.  Today's Bridal Cave blog will hopefully help you to remember once and for all which one hangs from the ceiling and which one hangs from the floor.  We'll even teach you some interesting facts about how both are formed.   There are a couple of different ways that people use to help them keep these two types of formations straight.  Stalactites are fixed "tight" to the ceiling, and stalagmites "might" trip you when you walk.  Another trick is to use the spelling. StalaCtite has a "C" like the Ceiling from which it hangs, and stalaGmites have a "G" like the Ground they grow on.  You may think these ideas sound corny, but we bet at least one of them will stick with you and you will always remember!
