Whether you are a local in the area or here on vacation, our Lake of the Ozarks attraction has a few ideas for staying cool this summer!  During periods of high temperatures, it's important to always drink plenty of fluids. You don't want to get dehydrated and drinking plenty of fluids can help keep you cool. Being out in the sun is a lot of fun but it's important to take a break to cool off every once in a while. Missouri is known as the Cave State with over 7,500 natural caves! There is a lot to learn about a cave's habitat and this coming Tuesday, you have the opportunity to learn from Missouri Naturalist, Shelly Colatskie. The Missouri Department of Conservation is putting together an Introduction to Cave's and Caving that can be attended virtually! Read on to learn more about this free event! MHQ will be the Grand Marshall of the parade leading the rest of the boats to try to beat the world record of 1180 boats.
