Start Early - Grab Coffee 

The key to a successful day trip is to start early! If you want to make the most out of your day, make plans to leave early so you can pack as much fun into your day as possible! If you're still feeling a little tired when you get into town, our local coffee shop in Camdenton, MO - Sip Coffee House is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee or even some breakfast! 

Ha Ha Tonka State Park 

Ha Ha Tonka State Park has more than 15 miles of hiking trails, old historic castle ruins, natural spring, and gorgeous views of the Lake of the Ozarks - these are just a few of the things that draw visitors to this park. There is a ton of great history at Ha Ha Tonka - not to mention spectacular views. Ha Ha Tonka is free to visitors and perfect for spending a few hours or even half the day. 

Grab Lunch on the Water

After a few hikes, you're sure to work up an appetite! It's time to head for some lunch. Since Camdenton is located at the Lake of the Ozarks, why not take advantage of eating right on the water. You'll find two great restaurants in Camdenton that are located right on the water.

Now that you've enjoyed a delicious meal on the water, it's time for some family fun! We have plenty to keep you busy inside the park! 

Take a Cave Tour 

Guided tours leave frequently throughout the day! ours are conducted over concrete pathways through the Cave’s refreshing 60-degree environment. Park interpreters will lead you and your family through room after room of incredible mineral deposits. Giant columns, delicate soda straws, and massive draperies abound throughout the cave.

Feed Giant Fish 

Head down to our boat dock and feed the giant fish swimming near our dock. 

Pan for Gemstones 

One of our favorite souvenirs to bring home is a bag full of different gemstones! Purchase a bag of "dirt" inside our gift shop and head outside to sift through the sand and find gorgeous rough cut gemstones. 


Eat Missouri's Best Ice Cream 

We now carry the Ice Cream Factory's delicious ice cream! The Ice Cream Factory is located locally in Eldon, Mo and we carry pints of their ice cream at our family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks. 

Take a Hike 

If you didn't get enough of the trails in at Ha Ha Tonka, we offer a self-guided nature trail that is .5 mile long.
