Shop Local on Small Business Saturday!

Small Business Saturday will take place on Saturday, November 30th this year. Small Business Saturday is celebrated across the entire United States and created to encourage shoppers to shop local around the holiday season. Being a small family-owned business ourselves, we want to spread the word and encourage everyone to shop local this year and support your local community! Read on to learn why you should consider shopping local as much as possible this year!

#1 Small Business Typically Give Back More to the Community

Many local businesses are willing to give back to their local community in the form of sponsoring a local charity, little league team, or school fundraiser. Plus, when you shop local, the sales tax stays in your community which helps fund sidewalks, public schools, parks, roads, and more. When you shop at local businesses you are supporting the local business that helps support your local community!

#2 Small Businesses Create More Jobs

More than half of the jobs created are attributed to small businesses in the United States. The more shop at your local businesses, the more jobs there will be in your community.

#3 Better Customer Service

Typically when you shop at your local stores you will receive better customer service.

#4 You'll Find Unique Products

Small businesses pride themselves on the unique products and services they offer. Typically, the business owner is very passionate about their product or service and that's why they started their business in the first place. When you shop local, you'll be able to find unique products that aren't always offered at your big box store.
