Yep, you guessed it - inside Bridal Cave! Our cave is always a refreshing 60-degrees and the perfect Lake of the Ozarks attraction to have some family fun and cool off at the same time! Find out how to have some cool summer fun below!

Why Do Caves Remain the Same Temperature?

Before we get down to having some cool summer fun, have you ever wondered why caves remain the same temperate all year round? Bridal Cave isn't the only cave that stays the same temperature and today, we're going to tell you why.

Since caves are underground, they are not affected by the surface temperature. Bridal Cave remains a constant 60-degrees year-round but not every cave is the same temperature. In fact, a cave's temperature is dependant on the location. Generally, a cave's temperature is the average temperature for the region where it's located. Therefore, southern caves are warmer and northern caves are cooler! How COOL is that?!
