A Year's Worth of Exciting Cave Topics

Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park have been sending weekly blogs your way for a whole year now. Wow, that's a lot of cool caving topics! Caving isn't the only thing we've discussed over the past months though. There are tons of great things to learn about our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction. A look through our last 52 blogs are proof of that.

Today we are going to recap a few of the topics that have been covered over the past year. If you see something you missed, there is a link to every single blog that we've written on the right-hand side of the web version of our blog. If you are browsing from a mobile device, you should see a list of blog links to scroll through when you go to www.BridalCave.Blogspot.com.

Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park
A lot of our blog topics covered all of the fun and exciting things to do and see at our family friendly Lake of the Ozarks attraction. The History of Bridal Cave was one of our first entries, and it has led quite an interesting life since 1856. We even gave you a few tips to Explore Thunder Mountain Park. There plenty of stories about why we are an excellent spot for A Great Field Trip for Kids plus a perfect place for family reunions and even business meetings.

Weddings
There have been Decades of Weddings at Bridal Cave, both in our underground wedding chapel and outside amidst the beauty of nature in our lakeside pavilion. We were even named the #1 Breathtaking Wedding Location in America by About Style, and Glamour Magazine selected us as one of the Top 10 Unique Wedding Venues in America! One of our most-read blogs was all about our Annual Vow Renewals, which are completely free to participate in. We'll be doing that again this February, so keep your eyes peeled for the details.

Park Improvements
We are constantly striving to improve on our already amazing Lake of the Ozarks attraction. A few of the blogs covered our most recent updates, like the brand new LED lighting and the New Improvements to Thunder Mountain Park that we made in the form of botanical gardens and a waterfall. There was a 2-part story about our historical Wedding Bell, which featured its history and the journey it took to be restored to better than new.

Nature Topics
Missouri happens to be known as The Cave State, and we covered this topic in a couple of different ways over the past year. Our state has more caves than any other state, including 18 show caves that are open to the public for tours. We also talked about the difference between stalactites and stalagmites, and the type of Life Inside the Cave you may see on a tour. Outside the cave, we blogged about the hungry fish at our dock and the calm, breathtaking Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks that we are located on.

Unique Gifts & Sales
The gift shop at Bridal Cave is filled with Unique Gifts that anyone would love to receive. There are also rocks, minerals, and gemstones from all around the world that our general manager hand selects every year to bring to you. When we have yearly closeout sales to make room for more, you'll hear all about those on our blogs!  Another popular thing to do when you visit us is to Break Your Own Geodes in our special, custom built pressure cracker.

Lake Area Events & Information
There are tons of exciting things to do in our area, and occasionally we love to feature a few of the other Family Fun Attractions nearby. You will also find helpful information about many of the annual events that make our lake area so very special, such as the recent Pumkin Chunkin Palooza and last summer's Aquapalooza.

Contests & Community Involvement
Occasionally we like to add to the fun that already awaits you at Bridal Cave by hosting our own events. We are right in the middle of hosting an Underground Opinion Poll to predict the new president of the United States, and we even gave away free family passes to anyone that could find the cave troll we planted in our virtual tour of the cave. This blog is an excellent tool for letting you know about those things, plus the services we provide to our local community, like Christmas tree recycling and how Wishes Come True from the funds we collect in our wishing well.

What Else Would You Like To Know?
We absolutely love sharing all of the history, information, and awesome topics with you that we get to cover in the blog every week. There is a lot more where all of those blogs came from, and we look forward to sharing those with you soon.

What would you like to know more about at our Lake of the Ozarks natural attraction? Tell us what you like reading about most, what you don't care to read about, and anything that you would like for us to cover in the future that we haven't gotten around to in the past. Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park hold our visitors' opinions very highly, and we want to bring you more of everything that you love. Thanks for sticking with us so far, and please keep coming back for more!
