Make Summer Memories Before School Starts!

It's officially August which means the kids will be back in school shortly! Do something fun AND educational that will make memories for a lifetime and visit our family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks ! We have plenty of things to do in the park to keep you busy and the kids will love getting to do something fun before they head back to school! Don't worry though, we won't tell them that it's educational too. Read on to find out what we have in store for you during your visit! Take a Hike  As a part of  Thunder Mountain Park , we have a 1/2 mile nature trail. Wind through the gorgeous scenery and make a stop at our outdoor classroom, see beautiful limestone shelves, and enjoy the beauty of the Northern slopes of Thunder Mountain Park. Celebrate National Family Fun Month at Bridal Cave!

August is National Family Fun Month! With Summer coming to a close soon, it's the perfect time to spend some time with family. Why not celebrate at Bridal Cave because it only makes sense to celebrate National Family Fun Month at the best family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks ! Spending time outdoors with your family is a great way to unplug and enjoy time together. Bridal Cave offers several ways to enjoy some quality time with your family. Gorgeous Fall Colors All Over the Lake of the Ozarks

Summer is a popular time to visit the lake area, but fall at the Lake of the Ozarks is an amazing sight to behold! The crisp, cool air has finally made its way to the area, and the leaves are beginning to turn all sorts of gorgeous colors. It marvelously combines the lake's natural beauty with intriguing history. Fall colors abound, and there are a series of trails and boardwalks carved out so you can easily explore for hours. This will be the 29th year for the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. It has become one of the most anticipated annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks  over the years. If you like watching fast boats, getting out on the water, and having lots of fun with tons of people, then you really should check this out.  photo from Funlake.com  While the main event, the timed boat races, take place on Saturday & Sunday, August 26 & 27, 2017, all kinds of fun events and activities have been created to extend the excitement throughout the days leading up to the races. Our family fun Lake of the Ozarks attraction has plenty for you to do during the daylight hours, and once the sun sets, there will be multiple fireworks displays happening all over the place! The gorgeous botanical gardens that we added to Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park last year are in full bloom and ready to be enjoyed this season! Along with all of the other natural beauty you will experience walking around the trails of our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction , as well as the underground beauty inside the cave, these gardens are certainly quite a sight to behold.  Botanical Garden & Waterfall Just outside of our Lake of the Ozarks gift shop you will find a magnificent botanical garden featuring over 20 different blooming flowers and shrubs. These plants provide lovely, fresh flowers throughout the season until sometime in October. The garden also contains a relaxing waterfall feature, and it's all in perfect view from our lakeside picnic pavilion. Great Group Tour Possibilities For Summer Vacation!

Summer vacation is in full swing. Don't let the kids spend the entire break in front of a screen. Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park is a perfect activity to keep them entertained, amazed, and it's even educational! Our kid-friendly Lake of the Ozarks attraction is a wonderful place to bring large groups too: summer school, vacation bible school, summer camps, etc... Get them out of the classroom and into nature!  Bringing your group to Bridal Cave is as easy as 1-2-3:  #1 - Pick a date. It's not difficult to find a date that works with your group's schedule, because we're open 7 days a week! When you make your group reservation, we'll be happy to help you decide on a day that fits best into your schedule.   #2 - Pick a time. We open every day at 9 am, and through June 10 we are open until 5 pm. After that, June 11-August 14, we add an extra hour and don't take our last tour out until 6 pm. Buy Your Ozarks Amphitheater Tickets At Bridal Cave

We would like to announce that Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park is now an official ticket outlet for Ozarks Amphitheater in Camdenton. You can spend the day at our family attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks , then head on over to enjoy a concert under the stars that night!  Ozarks Amphitheater The Ozarks Amphitheater is an open-air concert venue located just a couple of miles away from our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction . It was completed in 1993 and has hosted some very well-known entertainers. The Charlie Daniel's Band, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Miranda Lambert, Blues Traveler, and Willie Nelson are just a few of the famous voices that have graced the stage.   The concert venue can hold 13,000 fans, with seating for 10,000, plus enough lawn seating for another 3,000.
