5 Reasons To Renew Your Wedding Vows at Bridal Cave This Year

The Annual Wedding Vow Renewals Event inside our unique underground wedding venue at the Lake of the Ozarks is happening soon. (Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 9 am - 4 pm to be exact.) We have lots of couples from all across the country, and occasionally from outside of the United States, join us at Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park for this free event. If you have been married for many decades or only 1 day, here are a few reasons why you might want to join us this year.

A Great Valentine's Day Surprise
Have you run out of great ideas for Valentine's Day gifts for your spouse? Surprising them with a romantic vow renewal is an excellent idea! This year our Lake of the Ozarks annual event is taking place the Sunday before Valentine's Day, so they probably won't be expecting you to do something that early, and you get points for planning ahead!

It doesn't even need to be a surprise to be romantic. Go ahead and make plans to be here together for the vow renewals, and maybe follow the trip with a charming walk around the park (weather permitting) and a nice dinner out. The sentimental words you will be repeating to each other promising to love, honor, and cherish your spouse will add an air of romance to the entire week containing Valentine's Day (and hopefully far beyond that!)

Celebrate a Landmark Anniversary
If you have a milestone anniversary coming up this year, a renewal of your wedding vows in the unique atmosphere of our stalactite-adorned underground wedding chapel is a memorable way to celebrate that. For couples that originally got married at Bridal Cave, it's a nostalgic trip back to where your life together as husband and wife began. Of course, it doesn't have to be a landmark anniversary for you to take part. All couples are welcome on this special day, no matter how long you have been married to each other.

The Ceremony is Stress-Free
Planning a wedding is often a stressful time full of so many things to do that you might miss enjoying the actual day to its fullest. When you join us for this wonderful event, we take care of all of the details for you. All you need to do is show up between 9 am - 4 pm and focus on those sentimental words you will be saying to each other. Nothing at all for you to worry about, simply enjoy the romance!

You Get Gifts!
Every couple that renews their vows on February 11, 2018, will receive a goody bag filled with all kinds of fun things as our wedding gift to you. These goodies include:
  • A lifetime pass to Bridal Cave
  • A downloadable wedding portrait from Lindsey Webster Photography
  • Flowers for the bride from Janine's Flowers
  • A goody bag with lake area gifts and discounts

It's FREE!
Oh, and did we forget to mention, attending our Annual Wedding Vow Renewal Event is absolutely free! What better way for us to celebrate Valentine's Day than to help couples relive one of the most romantic days in their lives. Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park are thrilled to be able to offer this fantastic event every year, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy it.

New this year, we are asking all couples to please bring a non-perishable food item with them. These donations will benefit the Lamb House of Camdenton. This is a nice way for our loving couples to share a little love with others.

So, what do you think? Are you ready to bring your spouse to our natural Lake of the Ozarks attraction to say "I do" all over again? It's a free day full of romance, scenic beauty, and lots of fun goodies for the both of you. Help us make this year even bigger than last year and make plans now to be at Bridal Cave on Sunday, February 11, 2018. We'll bring the officiant, you just bring the love!
