About the National Caves Association

Bridal Cave is a proud member of the National Caves Association. This organization promotes show caves across the country and our very own Steve Thompson takes an active leadership role in the association. It's an organization near and dear to us -- no wonder we're featuring the NCA in our latest blog! Check out the details about this fantastic association below.

About the National Caves Association:

The National Caves Association is a non-profit trade association that was founded in 1965 by a group of private show cave owners. Since then, the association has become more of an industry organization. It's a place where friends and colleagues come together to share information and ideas about the cave industry. The group truly comes together to support other show caves across the country. Over 80 show caves are now members across the United States, Bermuda, and Barbados. The association offers a number of educational experiences for cave owners and the public, as well.

The National Caves Association is very active in promoting cave visits, developing more options for cave insurance programs, helping to develop and implement industry standards on other factors that are cave related, and much more.

About Bridal Cave:

Our cave in Camdenton, Missouri remains a constant 60-degrees inside, so it's a great family-friendly activity, no matter what the weather! Regularly timed guided tours leave throughout the day and last about an hour. During this tour, your group will be guided through the concrete paved cave. It's a sight to see as giant columns, delicate soda straws and massive draperies abound throughout the cave. A tour through one of America's most scenic caves is a family adventure you will never forget!
