The Lodge of Four Seasons

 The Lodge of Four seasons will be carving the roast baron of beef and laying out the sweet potato mash and pumpkin pie. Regalia Hotel & Conference Center 

The Royal Catch Bar & Grill, located in The Regalia Hotel will be serving a delicious meal! They will have various carving stations including roast turkey, pit ham, prime rib, and more! If you want to eat at home...but don't want to cook, The Butcher Shop in Camdenton prepares Thanksgiving meals ready to eat. We have personally used The Butcher Shop for catering here at Bridal Cave on multiple occasions and they come highly recommended! Although Bridal Cave will be closed on Turkey Day, we will be open 9am to 4pm the rest of the time to walk off all those extra calories. The most scenic cave tour in Missouri is surrounded by the natural beauty of Thunder Mountain Park .  This incredible Lake of the Ozarks attraction  covers hundreds of acres.  It spreads over more than a mile of Lake of the Ozraks shoreline, a mile of highway frontage along Old Missouri Route 5, and all the acreage in between.  That is a lot of nature to be explored! It's time for Spring Break! You don't need to travel to some sandy beach to get away from everything. Our scenic Lake of the Ozarks attraction feels lucky to be located in the center of some of the most natural beauty in America. There's no need to travel any further than right here, the Midwest's Coast!  There are buds on the trees and the flowers are beginning to bloom, the fish are biting, and the lake is calling out to us all! Stalactites & Stalagmites - Which is Which?

Caves in Missouri , as well as around the world, are filled with stalactites and stalagmites.  Everyone has heard of these, but most people have trouble remembering which is which.  Today's Bridal Cave blog will hopefully help you to remember once and for all which one hangs from the ceiling and which one hangs from the floor.  We'll even teach you some interesting facts about how both are formed.   There are a couple of different ways that people use to help them keep these two types of formations straight.  Stalactites are fixed "tight" to the ceiling, and stalagmites "might" trip you when you walk.  Another trick is to use the spelling. StalaCtite has a "C" like the Ceiling from which it hangs, and stalaGmites have a "G" like the Ground they grow on.  You may think these ideas sound corny, but we bet at least one of them will stick with you and you will always remember!
