Lake of the Ozarks - Home of the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals
Another incredible annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is happening May 6-8, 2016 - The 28th Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals. This huge car show on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip seems to get bigger each year, drawing more and more visitors to the lake area.
All makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles will be represented. Thousands of people will be walking up and down the Bagnell Dam Strip, viewing the most amazing vehicles from all over the country. The road is closed for this event, and show cars will be parked along the entire route. Classic car fans, collectors, and even those of you that have never been to a car show will all thoroughly enjoy your time at this awesome car show.
You can take a new car home!
After eyeing all of those gorgeous automobiles, how would you feel about having one of your own? The Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary is raffling off a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. For only $20 per ticket, that gorgeous car could be yours. The chances are pretty good because they are limiting ticket sales to 2,500. It will be given away on Saturday evening, but you don't have to be present to win. Tickets are available now at Hy-Vee and Kwik Kar, both in Osage Beach, and Hulett Automotive in Camdenton.
The 2016 Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is open from noon to 5 pm on Friday, followed by music provided by Cool 102.7 late into the evening.
On Saturday, show hours are from 8 am - 6 pm. There is a Make-N-Take Model Event starting at 10 am, and at 5 pm there will be poker run and raffle winners announced, along with the winner of that new Chevy Camaro. The evening will once again wrap up with music from Cool 102.7.
Sunday is the final day for the car show. (And don't forget, this falls on Mother's Day!) Show hours are from 8 am - 1 pm. At the close of the show, awards will be given in various categories at the main stage.
